LINDY LEE
b. 1954, Brisbane, Australia. Lives and works in Sydney, Australia.

Lindy Lee is one of Australia’s foremost contemporary artists, with a career spanning three decades in Australia and internationally. Her artworks are an ongoing investigation of the themes of selfhood, identity and authenticity, drawing inspiration from Zen and Tao Buddhism. Employing the ideas of chance and spontaneity, Lee creates a galaxy of imagery that emanates philosophical meditations on nature.
