MATTHEW SO CHUN HIM
Matthew uses his experience and aesthetic language to illustrate diverse and complex emotions and states. With his insight on colors and shapes, he treated them as people, focusing on their interactions and chemistry. Matthew uses color as a universal language. Believing that there are human instincts and feelings triggered by color and form. “Like choosing oranges in the supermarket, you will know which orange is the best.” Knowing that a person’s emotional and mental state may not necessarily be expressed in words. He uses his language to speak the unspeakable and indescribable. Rising the animality and spirituality found in every human being. Matthew So Chun Him (b. 2000) is a Bachelor of Art in Fine Arts graduate from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2022.
