HANNAH BERTRAM
Lives and works in Australia. Hannah Bertram’s work is elegant, precious, unique and completely unattainable except for the few moments it is beheld by the eye. She is an unconventional artist whose work cannot be wrapped nor delivered. She uses dust, ash, dirty water and grime to create ornate and decorative installations, which exist briefly before being swept up, washed away or disposed of. At once breath taking but also fragile and impermanent, her pieces explore the concept of passing time and also question the value of art.
