Carol Lee Mei Kuen is an artist that can evoke strong visual sensations in her viewers through her play with shape, juxtaposition, color, rhythm and intensity. Through a technique called time painting, Lee creates pieces that are elegant, thought provoking and truly reflective of the passing of time.
李美娟於出生於1983年香港，於2001年以優異成績畢業於香港藝術學院與澳洲皇家墨爾本理工大學合辦的文學士（純藝術）學位課程，其後於2008年獲藝術碩士學位，並獲頒發碩士傑出成就獎。她在2001年獲選為Golden Key International Honour Society會員，也是MIA（純粹獨立藝術家群）創辦委員之一。
其作品為夏利豪基金會、德國Alexander Tutsek-Stiftung Foundation、烏克蘭Lviv玻璃博物館、香港文化博物館、香港藝術中心、M+博物館及私人收藏。
