I didn’t want to focus on any single member of the band at this time, and I moved them round trying to give them all a chance to be at the front. Brian’s image was far more evolved than any of the others, although Charlie was always very “hip” in a transatlantic, jazzy style. Mick and Keith still had a slightly boyish, student look about them, and Bill was…..Bill!
