Taken outside my studio in Masons Yard during my first session with the band in 1965. This session also produced the Out of our Heads/Decembers Children cover image. Caged exploited the growing reputation the band were building up as “wild animals”, an image that their manager, Andrew Loog Oldham, exploited to the fullest.
