This panel imagines the ocean as a quiet network of transmission. Cables run beneath the surface, carrying signals that never reach sound, dissolving into the sea’s rhythm—messages suspended, conversations broken. Marine figures slip into this submerged system: a fish exhales script as bubbles, another whispers through a filament to a waiting squid. An octopus clutches obsolete laptops; wires unravel into nets that catch both fish and machines. A reef rises from a discarded motherboard, its code adrift in currents too wide to retrieve. Here, technology drifts beyond command. Input yields no output; memory corrupted yet carried; signals without senders linger in the water’s silent archive.

Embroidered Texts:
● a network that never returns
● signal with no sender
● シミュレーション (Simulations)
● アップロードされた知性 (uploaded intelligence)
● the code swam too far
● motherboard reef
● echo(…): return null
● INPUT > no OUTPUT
● memory.corrupted

Collaborators in Hand Embroidery: Marilyn Atienza, Marissa Florendo, Jennifer Gumapac, Rhosenie Seloza, Charisse Villostas, Hyacinth Villostas (Taal, Batangas).
