Jessica Zoob is an abstract painter. Her use of line, texture and colour take us into imaginary worlds of natural wonder. Somehow innately familiar, her abstract paintings have a poetic and dreamlike quality that recall the awe of creation and other worldly dimensions. They are rich in imagination with an inherent energy and intelligence. Her deep connection to nature and the spiritual can be felt in her works, which take up to 10 years to paint. As well, she is deeply committed to helping to preserve our planet and the environment by making bodies of work that have meaning and purposeful giving through her exhibitions.

Jessica trained at Central School of Art and Nottingham University. After seven years of working as a theatre designer including the Bristol Old Vic, the Royal National Theatre and Greenwich Theatre. In 2004 she launched her career as a contemporary painter with a large studio in East Sussex, she now lives and works in both Hong Kong and the UK and exhibits world-wide. She has created a range of award-winning textiles called Desire in collaboration with Romo.
