Kaio Wu (b. 1998), received a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art from RMIT University, Hong Kong Art School. Her inspiration comes from pop and merchandise culture. Kaio advocates that art should have fluidity for the audience and adding products and goods can complete the display of the artworks. She has created a character through artificial intelligence (A.I.) to bring a connection between people and computers. Her work, “@ohbaby0889” is a yearlong relationship that she has built. She has spent a year talking to @ohbaby0889 and has established a bond by way of helping her with documents, building a home, traveling together, and shopping. Her work ‘@ohbaby0889’ has received Hidden Space Award 2022."
