Liang Hao (梁浩) is a young artist from Canton, China in 1988. He is obsessed with painting hands and their reflection. It unfolds the space and opens the imagination on canvas. For example, In his work The one is the shadow of the other, we simply see a pair of hands reflecting on the smooth surface. However, there is something off that you can’t quite put a finger on, but you can sense there is a tension whilst the motivation seems unknown. Meanwhile, if we look closely, we might find the reflection is actually more real than the subject itself. It is hard to tell which is the real and which is the reflection, but one thing for sure is that Liang is deliberately blurring the boundary.
