10 Chancery Lane Gallery is pleased to present Xiao Lu, one of China’s most provocative performance artists. This will be Xiao Lu's first solo exhibition in Hong Kong, featuring both a retrospective of her most iconic works and a new performance — created specifically for the city of Hong Kong.

Xiao Lu’s works have been included in many recent international museum exhibitions, including 4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art in Sydney (2019), TATE London (2018), the Zhuzhong Art Museum, Beijing (2018) and the Guggenheim Museum in New York (2017).

10 Chancery Lane Gallery is pleased to present HKFOREWORD19, an annual exhibition showcasing recent works by young Hong Kong art graduates. Now in its eighth year, the HKFOREWORD series, organized by 10 Chancery Lane Gallery, aims to actively promote and strengthen relations between the new generation of contemporary artists in Hong Kong and local universities offering art degree programs. Artists in the show are recent Bachelor’s and Master’s graduates from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Art School and Hong Kong Baptist University.

Since 2012, 10 Chancery Lane Gallery has been devoted to discovering emerging Hong Kong artists and supporting the local artist community with the HKFOREWORD exhibition. The exhibition encourages fresh art graduates to pursue their careers as practicing artists and provide them with the opportunity to connect with both the local and international art community.

Artists and artworks selected in the exhibition are diverse and include paintings, photography, videos and installations, providing a vibrant survey of the creativity, originality and passion of Hong Kong’s art graduates.

10 Chancery Lane Gallery is proud to present acclaimed Burmese artist Htein Lin in his first solo exhibition in Hong Kong. This is a two-part exhibition of works: Bespoke and Skirting the Issue. Bespoke is a reflection on Myanmar’s current existence, spiritual, political and material. The second part, Skirting the Issue is a collaborative project with Burmese women reflecting on accepted doctrines that lead to gender inequality. The exhibition consists of two parts. The front of the gallery will display a sculptural installation made from wagon wheels and the back room will show a series of paintings on traditional Burmese skirts called Longyi.
